Penelope has launched an initiative to help coach doctors working unprecedented hours and under unprecedented conditions during the COVID-19 pandemic.

She knows it’s a stressful time for all physicians and she wants to reach out to offer some encouragement, support, and burnout prevention tools. As a pediatrician, she’s still in the trenches, manning phones and trying to stay on top of ever changing guidelines.

As a coach, whether she’s had one discovery call with a doctor, worked together for months with them, or never been in contact with them before, she has been thinking of all clinicians during this time. So Penelope has put together a video series with PRACTICAL easy to use tools to alleviate some of this new burden.

The videos are all short, less than 5 minutes, and offer one nugget of self-care or burnout prevention that can help destress a doctor and keep them grounded and clear-thinking during this pandemic.

This first video tool is the keeping of a Gratitude Journal. Here Penelope discusses the reasons why it’s good to make a physical note each day of some things that you’re grateful for and how it can help you keep things in perspective as doctors work grueling hours they may not have seen since residency.
